Squeakpea and the Snugglehug
Summary
In a magical forest lives a group of elves who, in complete secret, make magic blankets called “snugglehugs” that have the power to help children fall asleep. One day, the elves are unable to complete one child’s magical blanket and she cries out because she does not have her snugglehug. Squeakpea, a lone mouse with a heart of gold, helps the elves carry out their mission and makes sure the baby has the comfort she needs.
This tale highlights the need for children to be reassured. It also emphasizes that helping people is an excellent way to feel good and make new friends. Squeakpea and the Snugglehug is the very first tale in our journey.
